So, after seeing a friend post on FB how she is dong the 2013 Runner’s World Holiday Running Streak, without thinking, I piped in and said “I’ll do it”.
Now I’m paying for it, but a promise is a promise and here are a few things I’ve done since then.

This was at oh 7am and about 30 degrees. It was the first day of the challenge and I didn’t really want to go. But, while I had to walk a good portion of it and my lungs were burning from the intense cold, I was happy that I got up and did it on Thanksgiving day and was thankful that I still had legs and muscles to do so.
I caught this leaf out of the corner of my eye. I think I just might blow it up and hang this pic on my wall. I think I may go in another direction tomorrow and see what I can find. This was day 3 and I struggled to finish, but I did it. Whether was a little warmer, maybe by 10 degrees, but it was raining.

Day 5 of the challenge and I am feeling better. But, it was a bitter 37 degrees and a wind chill. But, my time was way down and pain was minimal. This was at the turn around point and realized, wow, its really hard to run on a crooked street.
