Day Before Vacation

Today is tough and I’ve had some anxiety about how I’m going to eat on our vacation.  I was intent on still getting my workout in today and boy am I glad I did.  It was tough, it took a lot for me to get through it, but I did it.  Gonna take my workout gear with me on vacation I think.

Perseverance

Didn’t think I could do it and honestly can’t remember the last time I worked out 5 days a week.  I recall all the times I said I was going to workout five days a week.  Worked out four days straight, even on the day I thought I wasn’t going to be able  to get through the workout.  Toughed it out and took a well deserved day of rest and then was at it again on Saturday.

But, the hard work is paying off with weight loss instead of weight gain.  Have four more days to get be svelte for the AG Ball on Friday.  The dress fits already, but you know.  A few more pounds shed never hurt anyone.

And this, is the fruits of my labor.  At the top of the hill that I ran up 3 times yesterday (2.25 Miles).  You couldn’t ask for a prettier day or a prettier view.

Rajala Family Update

In an effort to eat healthier, I’ve been reading hundreds of labels, putting hundreds of items back onto the grocery shelves.  Today, I thought to myself, why not dumb it down and I won’t even have to cook.  Furthermore, it turned into a seriously healthy dinner and a small plate actually filled us up.
